How does RFID tire management work?

1. Identification

El RFID TAG The RFID TAG is placed on the tire´s inner side in a similar way to a puncture patch (it can be placed directly or vulcanized)

Once the tags that identify each tire are installed, an electronic and univocal identification of each has to be made.

2. Association

Once the tire has been registered in the system and it is going to be mounted on the vehicle, an association has to be made using the mobile terminal.

This way, the system will know which tire belongs to which vehicle and it will keep track of them in later audits.

3. Inspections

When some specific information about the tire is needed, an inspection can be made using the portable terminal.

The inspection allows you to additionally enter relevant information about the tire, such as the depth of the track or the air pressure.

4. Audits

The reading of these identification tags can be made through fixed portals placed on the property entrance where the control will be made or through mobile devices that can easily be transported to where transportation will be supervised.

The data collected in audits (whether made with mobile terminals or fixed portals) are transmitted to a management system.
